In the next two weeks the children will taking part in the Dash Bullying Programme. It is hoped that the article below will create a discussion or learning moment in your home, and give your child some additional insight into why some people bully and how to deal with those individuals.
So why do some people bully? The answer is really quite simple: to solve their social problems. After all it’s easier to bully somebody than to work things out, manage your emotions, and learn to solve problems. Bullying is the easy way out and, sadly, some children take it.
